Day 26 Oops

I totally missed blogging yesterday. We ran a bunch of errands which entailed hiking thru Lowes and Michaels and I came home trashed. I'm afraid I'm still fighting weakness. Its a good thing I lead a laid back life and am not chasing kids etc! I do LOVE waking up to a loss every morning but I definitely won't miss feeling like a limp dishrag. We've got company coming in this weekend and it will certainly be a challenge getting things ready. Pulling off a Thanksgiving dinner should be interesting too. Hoo Boy. Good thing I will have lots of willing helpers.
Something I really need to do is get a better variety going in my meals. I sure wish I liked more of the permitted veggies. I'm finding myself fantasizing about broccoli, Brussels sprouts, green beans and baked potatoes.. with butter, of course! LOL Oh, and whole wheat bread. I ran across a recipe the other day for wheat bread made with olive oil and no sweetener that I can hardly wait to try. Funny that I have no interest in the things I usually crave like M&Ms or brownies. Wouldn't it be lovely if that was a permanent aftermath? I've always said I would be a size 3 if chocolate had never been invented. :)
Big news of the day is that I'm down 16 pounds!!! Now THAT beats a baked potato any day. LOL Blood sugar also remains in the normal range.
